bardinStefani Bardin is a media maker whose work situates itself between video, film, installation and performance. She has presented her work nationally and internationally at venues including (and upcoming) Lingnan University in Hong Kong, the University of Technology in Sydney, UCLA Hammar Museum, The Slade School of Art, Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center, Location One Gallery in NY and Alfred University. Having spent many years on projects revolving around the writings of the German cultural critic Walter Benjamin, she is now focussed on a body of work on the subject of food entitled “The Pharmacology of Taste.” Great taste, less theory. She is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Media Study at the University at Buffalo and teaches film and media theory and production classes including "Food and Emerging Media" and "Dystopic Visions in Film."
